Woodchuck removal and control in Connecticut
Woodchucks or groundhogs as they are also called
are thriving this year in Connecticut.
Born in April or May, A chuck can have up to 8 in a
litter. After about 6 weeks, the young are weaned and
will start to explore the areas surrounding their den.
Commonly found in a den dug under ground or
under a shed or deck, they are diurnal and active
only during the day.
As herbivores, they can become quite the pest of a
gardener, often eating flowers, vegetables and
ornamental.
